Jane Duncan will become president of the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA). She will take office on 1st September 2015, for a period of two years and will succeed Stephen Hodder. She heads her own studio, Jane Duncan Architects, in Buckinghamshire since 1992 and designs housing units as well as sports, commercial, and community facilities.
Following her election, Jane Duncan reiterated her plans as RIBA president: «She pledged to follow her campaign goals of restoring pride in the profession, pushing for commensurate pay, and encouraging diversity within the profession».
